Local charitable giving is a staple in our company mission
Our local community supports our business, and helping local non-profit organizations is a small way for Muth Roofing to show our appreciation! That’s why we are reminding our neighbors and our customers to “Give Where You Live” and keep their holiday giving local this year.
“Give Where You Live” helps local individuals, local families, local animals, local volunteers, local businesses, and the local economy. In short, it makes our community a better place for each of us to live and work!
Here are a few organizations that are near and dear to our hearts. We invite you to find out more about these great causes and consider giving them your support!
CHA Animal Shelter
CHA Animal Shelter is a nonprofit animal shelter serving the people and animals of Central Ohio. We provide safe, temporary shelter and care for abandoned or otherwise homeless cats and dogs, and work to reduce pet overpopulation by means of spay and neuter, education, and community outreach.
WARM (Westerville Area Resource Ministry)
WARM provides compassionate, short-term assistance, food, educational services, employment services, and spiritual support in order to encourage individuals to achieve a God-reliant, self-sufficient life while restoring dignity and hope.
Habitat for Humanity MidOhio
Habitat MidOhio helps families living in central Ohio break the cycle of poverty through new home construction and home repairs. The program is designed to be a hand-up, not a handout, to families in need.
GRIN
Good Stewardship – Respect for ALL People – Integrity Focused – Nurturing Relationships. Their goal is to alleviate hunger in Gahanna-Jefferson School District and residents in the 43230 zip code
Stowe Mission Community Resource Center
Located on Parsons Avenue, near downtown Columbus, OH, Stowe Mission is known as the community’s resource center. Since 1967, Stowe Mission has provided hope, restoration, and essential resources to families and individuals facing challenging hardships. The essentials we provide meet critical needs in three areas – hunger, healthcare, and education.
Cornerstone of Hope
Since 2003, Cornerstone of Hope’s vision has been to create a world where no grieving person journeys alone. If you are grieving the loss of a loved one and are in need of support, we are here to serve.
Star House Columbus
Star House exists to come alongside teens and young adults as they exit homelessness and gain stability in a community of hope. Founded in 2006, Star House operates Central Ohio’s only 24/7/365 drop-in center, where youth are provided immediate access to food, clothing, hygiene items, laundry facilities, showers, and a safe place to be. In addition, Star House, along with Finance Fund and the Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority, operates Carol Stewart Village (CSV)— a 62-unit affordable neighborhood for young adults, ages 18-24, with on-site programs and services.
If you or someone you know is in need of support, these organizations are a great resource to support your family this winter.
And if you have the time, volunteer! Your presence and support for these local charities mean just as much as a donation. Your time is as valuable to you, as it is to them.
