We do have free estimates, but we also offer other services for a fee:

Estimates are scheduled daily and depending on the time of year 1-7 days out.
Not for the initial walk around to evaluate the exterior, but we will need to go inside to inspect for water damage. Attic inspections require access to inside.
Yes, on large jobs and very high steep roofs but we prefer to be on the roof whenever possible to do evaluations.
We can tell you if you have storm damage. Also, for a fee that is applied towards your roofing project, we can do a formal written inspection you can use for insurance claim.
We may need access to your attic for the following reasons:
- We need to check out the ventilation to make sure it is working properly.
- Inspect insulation to document how much is there and add if need be.
- Make sure bathroom fans are vented out of the attic properly.
- Inspect underside of wood for damage and mold.
Scheduling, Timing & Delays
Estimates are scheduled daily and depending on the time of year 1-7 days out. Full roofs and repairs are running 1-4 weeks depending on the season.
Repairs are scheduled as quickly as possible and usually ran within 1 day to a week depending on the situation and problem. Full roof replacement usually takes 2-4 weeks to schedule depending on permits, roofs ahead, and other customer schedules. We run jobs in the order that they come in unless there is an underlaying delay that bumps or an emergency that needs addressed right away.
While we do our best to stick to a schedule some things are beyond our control including:
- Weather is always a factor
- Product for job is not in stock
- Waiting on permits
- Previous job ran longer than expected
There are a handful of reasons a delay could occur:
- We are waiting on a permit
- waiting on material not in stock
- Sometimes easier jobs are moved up because of incoming weather to keep the overall production line moving
Scheduling can be difficult due to:
- Prior jobs having issues
- Jobs turning into larger ones
Once you are on the schedule, we will push each customer back 1 day at a time until the job can be properly installed
Roofing & Repairs
Yes, but we will inspect each repair to determine the best solution.
Most repairs require additional materials and take a few days to schedule but emergency repairs are always attempted to protect the customers’ valuables.
Repairs are scheduled as quickly as possible and usually ran within 1 day to a week depending on situation and problem.
Our shingle of choice is GAF manufacturer. We can install any shingle or roofing product on the market but prefer a certified system.
Ohio building code requires a minimum of 90lb product in valley. Shingles will expand and contract causing bridging under shingles allowing ice and snow to creep in. Shingles in valley can tear and make a leak that is hard to find and harder to fix. Metal Valley holds up far longer than shingles and allows water to move freely down the channels without trapping snow and ice as easily in the valley. We feel also feel that a metal valley produces a much cleaner look.
Yes we do standing seam and exposed fastener roofing systems.
Roughly 40-60 percent of your color is faded in the first 5 years. Discoloration from mold and mildew streaks will darken the shingle especially in a lighter color pallet.
Answers will vary, but we can give you an estimated life expectancy with normal weather conditions.
Ventilation, Attics & Roof Construction
Homes are being remodeled and sealed up tighter every year. Insulation is added to attics and walls. Windows are being sealed and replaced; house wraps are being installed before siding is done. Most roofs in the past only last 15-20 years, but with proper ventilation that can be extended well past 25-30 years. Although most roofers do not pay attention to ventilation, the Code has been around for over 30 years. Moisture in the attic has, and will, cause plywood to delaminate and mold to grow on underside of roof deck.
We inspect the attic for the following reasons:
- We check the attic ventilation to make sure it is working properly.
- We inspect insulation to document how much is there and add if need be.
- We make sure bathroom fans are vented out of the attic properly.
- We inspect the underside of wood for damage and mold.
Ohio code requires all exhaust air to penetrate out of the attic space. Moisture from your shower and bathroom will cause mold and mildew in your attic. Moisture will collapse your insulation and make it less effective.
Their roofer does not understand code or the dangers of moisture in the attic.
Gutters & Exterior Services
We can just clean your gutters. We recommend adding Mr. Moose Maintenance plan as it is a much better deal and gives you a written report on what is going on with your roof, as well as a tune up including gutter cleaning, nail pops, caulking flashing, painting small pipes etc.
Debris will still get trapped in corners and walls behind the splash guards and kick outs.
Any gutter around 40 feet or longer should be 6”. With the rainstorms being worse and the roof lines being larger, a bigger gutter will help move the water away much faster and hold a lot more rain.

We have a comprehensive warranty that is backed by the manufacturer.
Usually warranties are mailed to customer in 30-60 days
