Give Where You Live Golf Outing

Muth & Company Roofing is committed to giving back to the communities where we live and work.

Over the years we continue to support the causes we feel are vital to keeping our Central Ohio community strong.

And the one thing we know from all of this. When our community comes together in support, it makes an even bigger impact.

That’s where you can help.

The Give Where You Live Golf Outing brings together an exciting fundraising event, that also includes an opportunity for three local charities to showcase their great work in our community.

Your sponsorship support goes directly to these vital community non-profits.

For the 3rd year, Muth & Company Roofing Inc., is proudly showcasing the work of local summer camps and fundraising to give kids the chance to go to camp.

The camps that will be supported are RoyalFamily Kids and Cornerstone of Hope’s Camp Memory.

In addition to sending kids to summer camp, this year’s benefactors will also include The Buckhaven Learning Center’s Whitetails for Warriors, which supports disabled and combat-wounded veterans.

Royal Family KIDS

This is an international organization of volunteers who mentor, guide, and support children who come from trauma since 1985. Their goal is to intervene in their lives and provide guidance, structure, and love so that they can avoid the common pitfalls for children who are in the foster care system. The pitfalls can be teenage pregnancy, homelessness, substance abuse, and prison.

The overal effectiveness of Royal Family Kids camps that I have experienced is that one week at camp can be as effective as 1 years of counseling sessions.

Cornerstone of Hope

This is a nonprofit Comprehensive Bereavement Support Center serving children, teens, and adults who have experienced the death of a loved one. Cornerstone of Hope’s Camp Memory is a day camp for children ages 6–13, designed to give children the opportunity to share their grief experiences in fun and creative ways. Campers will participate in age-appropriate grief activities led by professionals, go on field trips, play fun and high-energy games, and experience challenging activities.

For us, Cornerstone of Hope is our way of fulfilling our millennium resolution to give back. Though the loss of our son was never the way we dreamed we would end up giving back, we are committed to turning our pain into purpose. We pray you will find that purpose in your pain, too.

WITH HOPE,

Mark & Christi Tripodi

Buckhaven Learning Center

The center was established in 2006 as Non-Profit 501(c) 3 organization. Buckhaven carries out activities designed to offer Disabled/Combat Wounded Veterans the opportunity to participate in hunting and related all-expense paid outdoor activities as well as educational programs to learn about hunting, nature, and other similar topics. A major emphasis is placed on honoring our disabled veterans in an educational and recreational environment.  Our objective is to provide support with adaptive equipment, and to explore and experiment in the great outdoors.

We at Buckhaven, sincerely appreciate all the help we get from volunteers, businesses and individuals who donate items, and last but not least those in the community who support us financially. We could not put this hunt on and help these American heroes who were injured protecting our freedoms without all your support. Thanks again.

Craig Obrecht – President, Buckhaven Learning Center
